The Extra Day on Arusha City Tour

Pick up from your choice of Hotel at 6:00Hrs and drive to Ngorongoro Conservation Area, descend into Ngorongoro Crater upon arrival for a Crater Tour. This 2000 feet deep and 260 square km wide crater square hosts most of the animals found in East Africa, these include the endangered black rhino, hippo, wildebeest, zebra, common eland, gazelles, waterbuck, and warthogs. Lake Magadi, a large lake in the southwest of the crater is inhabited by thousands of flamingos. A picnic lunch will be taken in the Crater before driving back to your hotel overnight.

Safari Packing List Notes

  1. You can leave extra luggage in a locked storage room at the Hotel for no charge.

Footwear

  1. Sturdy, comfortable shoes, preferably waterproof. They will get dirty.
  2. Tennis shoes or sandals for lounging in the evening
  3. Comfortable, breathable socks

Clothing

  1. Shorts, mid-thigh or longer
  2. Lightweight, breathable pants
  3. Short-sleeved shirts, cool and breathable
