In such cases, clients will be promptly informed.

Refunds for cancellations may be issued, excluding charges for processed reservations, cancellation fees imposed by hotels/campsites/lodges/special camp fees and transporters, and other relevant expenses. Cancellation fees of 0% of the total land arrangements apply if cancellation is received within 25/30 days of the tour’s commencement, and a 30% cancellation fee applies if cancellation is made within 7/10 days of the tour’s commencement. Not included are departure taxes, visas, gratuities (excluding service charges), beverages, laundry, and other personal expenses. All rates are based on standard rooms or tents unless otherwise specified. Triple and single rooms or tents cannot be guaranteed and may carry extra supplements.

Transportation: A Safari four-wheel drive vehicle will be provided based on the route and number of participants. We reserve the right to employ the services of a subcontractor. Driver/guides who speak English/French/Spanish/German/Italian will be provided.
Alterations to Tours: We reserve the right to change routes or arrangements if necessary due to prevailing conditions. We also reserve the right to offer substitutes of equal value or cancel any scheduled tour. We may decline to accept or retain any person as a tour participant at any time, and in such cases, an equitable amount will be refunded.
Rerouting Safari: Rerouting of safaris is rare and is primarily dependent on room availability and special campsite availability. If such rerouting becomes necessary, clients will be notified well in advance. Samo Africa Adventures Ltd and its agents act solely as agents of the passengers for accommodation, meals, tours, and transportation of any type. They shall not be held responsible for any inconvenience, service omissions, injuries, delays, losses, or damages arising from various causes, including weather conditions, machinery breakdown, labor disputes, civil disturbances, and government orders. Samo Africa Adventures is insured against legal liabilities arising from injuries incurred by passengers in its own vehicles, subject to the jurisdiction of the courts in Tanzania, Kenya, Uganda, and Ethiopia.
Safety: The risk of encountering dangerous wild animals during safaris is minimal, as most creatures avoid direct contact with humans unless threatened. It is important to respect the advice of your experienced guide, who prioritizes your safety and best interests. Surprisingly, the most dangerous animal you are likely to encounter in Tanzania is the mosquito.
Cuisine: There is a wide variety of food available. International cuisine can be found in hotels, restaurants, and lodges. Along the coast, you can enjoy fish, lobsters, and local dishes such as Biryanis, meat or fish curries. Specialties include spiced tea or coffee and “Halua,” a sweet dessert with almonds. It is recommended to drink only boiled or bottled water.
